ROSE-RINGED INVASION « Towheeblog

When I first went looking for Rose-ringed Parakeets for my English life list, I had to go to Kew Gardens.  They'd been there for years, but were rare beyond that area.  Not any more, according to this NYT piece.  Now they're spreading rapidly, like the parrots in San Francisco.  BTW, Amsterdam has had a large RR Parakeet population even longer than London.
